This study aims to analyze various forms of controversy related to eschatological verses in the Qur'an, from an orientalist perspective based on the language used, and to identify the factors that influence the emergence of these controversies and their impact on the authenticity of the Qur'an. The results of the study indicate that there are several forms of vocabulary in the Qur'an that discuss eschatology and are influenced by Syro-Aramaic, as claimed by Luxenberg. In addition, there is the influence of Jewish culture according to Abraham Geiger's view, as well as the influence of the language style of the Christian tradition according to Noldeke. These forms of language style are inseparable from the factors that influence them, such as the interaction of Arabs with non-Arabs, which is often discussed by orientalists. This led to the entry of foreign languages that appear to be found in the Qur'an. As a result, orientalists began to doubt the originality of the Qur'an. The conclusion is that although there are similarities in foreign language styles in the Qur'an, this does not affect its authenticity. In fact, this shows that the Qur'an is a book that concludes and perfects the previous books and is a source of enthusiasm for faith for Muslims
